LaShannon Petit, the founder and owner of Styling Purpose, LLC is a native Miamian born to the parents of Borgella Petit and Ernestine Mike-Petit. LaShannon is a volunteer wardrobe stylist at Dress for Success. It is with education, work experience, community networking and an innate keen eye for fashion that Styling Purpose, LLC was birthed. May 2011 marked the genesis of Styling Purpose, LLC a personal styling and shopping company. Styling Purpose specializes in wardrobe styling, personal shopping, wardrobe assistance, fashion consultation, how to dress for interviews, makeovers, creative directing for fashion shows and image building.
As a small child LaShannon was taught to whom much is given, much is required. Styling Purpose is committed to giving back to non-profits in which LaShannon has a close association with or strong belief. In addition to styling clients LaShannon is a public speaker; through her public speaking she gives tips on how to dress for professional interviews. She has had the opportunity to speak to the clients of the United Way Center for Financial Stability. LaShannon has also made a guest appearance on Island TV.
