My little sister Bobbie graduated Magna Cum Laude this weekend. It’s amazing to think of the woman she has grown up to be. She’s about to start an adult life and I can still remember in vivid detail waiting by the phone to find out if she was going to be a boy or a girl. Being an only child for so long, I had begged my parents for a little sister many times. Well, today my little sister is officially grown up and I really just want to cry. She has come so far in the last few years and I am very proud of her and promise to continue providing all the support and love that I can.
She has been interviewing up a storm lately and of course I am hoping that she will end up in South Florida so that we can all be close. Being Italian, I like to have my family as close as possible. She actually sent me a text the other day telling me that she might be moving in again. “Yea roomie time again maybe lol :)”
Graduation Shoes
Let me know what kind of shoes you would wear to graduation.
Thanks,
April Golightly
I had to comment on this! I was 35 weeks pregnant with my youngest when I earned my MS degree. It was hot, and I was miserable! None of my ‘real’ shoes fit so I wore cute black and white Maryjanes from my favorite hip shoe shop. I was so huge!
