Thanks to Kipling for sponsoring today’s discussion about Holiday Adventures.
The holidays are a super busy time of year especially for a mom on the go like yours truly. 🙂 My big bags get heavy very quickly because I will alway find a way to fill them up. It’s as inevitable as death and taxes. Instead of having one big one, I like to have multiple bags so that I can take what I need and put bags inside other bags if I need more than one.
I started my holiday bag shopping in the Kipling Holiday Catalog. I spent a bit looking it over and found so many awesome bags that go with my style…so instead of buying just one, I bought three bags. I picked the Rizzi Convertible Bag and Kichirou Metallic Lunch Bag both in Toasty Gold. The convertible bag can be worn 4 ways: crossbody open, crossbody folded over, around your waist and as a clutch. The color helps you rock it from day to night as well.
I picked the matching lunch box so that I can bring my daughter’s lunch with me without clashing bags. This lunch bag looks great as a regular bag and also is good size for a DSLR camera if you are in pinch. Obviously, you should make sure there is no wetness or dirt left over from when you use it as lunch box.
My last pick was the Harrie Printed Pouch in Island Hop which can be used as a clutch or a makeup bag. You can get it monogrammed with your initials or a your favorite hashtag. I have been using it for my on the go makeup bag lately. This would be a perfect stocking stuffer or a co-worker gift. I added this bag to my gift guide recommendations for personalized gifts.
My intern, Brooke Strange will be attending the #KiplingHoliday Tour in Orlando. It will take place on December 19 and 20 from 12 PM to 8 PM. The attendees will experience a spectrum of event highlights including: a Kipling Holiday Collection show wall, on-site monogramming, bespoke gift-wrapping, personalized sweets, photo booths, giveaways, and holiday DIY inspiration. Sounds like so much fun! We will be posting photos on the April Golightly Instagram during the event. Stay tuned and follow along with all the attendees and bloggers by searching #KiplingHoliday on social media. RSVP here.
