I know that the rest of the country thinks that winter doesn’t happen in South Florida. It might seem that way when you look at the map of the country we are reporting low 70s. It’s funny, but the longer you live here, the more slight temperature variations effect you. As soon as we are in the low 70s, I start bringing sweaters for both my daughter and me!

We dress for the temperature by choosing boots, skirts, and long sleeves or short sleeves with sweaters. The key to dressing appropriately during the holidays in Florida is layering. I love the vest over long sleeve combination because it’s easier to carry than a coat or jacket. Also, you can regulate body temperature better with a cute vest.

My daughter and I had a blast picking out this look. She’s obsessed with all things pink and fell in love with this pink tulle skirt. We tried on a few outfits in the store and ended up three tulle skirts, a vest, boots, two tops, and hair ties to match all the looks. The OshKosh B’gosh store made it easy to find matching looks for the holidays. They have quality pieces that I would totally wear if they had my size!

During the holiday season, there are so many events, I was excited to find full looks that I can just grab and go to things like tree lightings, boat parades, ‘snow’ day at the park, and tons more outing especially during Christmas break!

Today, I grabbed this look right out my daughter’s closet. No brain power required; I matched everything up in the store. I paired the pink tulle skirt with a long sleeve top, faux fur vest and glitter booties. Then, I used the hair ties that I bought to match to embellish my daughter’s bun.
