How to Get a Facial in Your Home
This post was written in affiliation with Harrods. As always, all opinions are 100% my own. I adore my Clarisonic and Harrods is an awesome store that I am super excited to work with.
Facials with a professional are awesome and a necessary evil for me because I have acne prone skin. I have been going to the same woman since my pregnancy acne outbreak. She is the first person to use the Clarisonic on me. Sometimes I do not have time or money to go to get a professional facial. For just such an occasion, I invested in a Clarisonic of my own.
Supplies & Tools
- Clarisonic
- Exfoliating Scrub (I like the Soy Face Exfoliant)
- Face Lotion
- Face Mask (here are some DIY at home face masks to try)
- Bowl of ice and water
- 2 Clean Face Towels
How to Get a Facial in Your Home
- First, use the Clarsonic to clean your face with the exfoliating scrub. Use the beeps to direct you how long to stay on each area.
- Remove the scrub from your face with a clean face towel dipped in the bowl ice and water. Do it twice to make sure you get all the granules.
- Spend 10 to 15 massaging facial lotion into your face. Press on your temples and eyes to help with stress. Massaging the face softens expression-induced lines around your eyes, lips and brows, helps expel acne-causing toxins and de-puffs and brightens the eye area by increasing circulation.
- Remove excess lotion with the second clean face towel dipped in the bowl of ice water.
- Cover your entire face avoiding eye area with face mask.
so glad to come across this post. it’s so nice to make your own so you know exactly what is in it. most of that stuff has a long list of chemicals we’ve never heard of.
Glad to help! š
