I am still dreaming about the Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa in Jensen Beach FL. The Hutchinson Island Hotel is placed right on the beach in Jensen Beach. I grew up going to this beach and was so happy to see that the old Holiday Inn is now a spectacular resort on the Hutchinson Island Beach.
Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa Decor
The Hutchinson Island Resort and Spa is part of the Opal Collection of Hotels. As you can see from the photos the beachside resort has modern nautical decor. The details are breathtaking. During my stay, I love finding nautical details all over the Resort. When you walk into the property, you are immediately blown away by the sailfish sculptures hanging from the ceiling. Martin County is the Sailfish Capital of the World so it is an ideal piece of art for the Martin County Resort.
Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa Rooms
My Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa Room made me feel like I had been whisked away to a beachside heaven. When you walk into the Oceanview hotel room, you are immediately greeted with a white room filled with stylish nautical decor. The room is very clean with wood style tile floor and cute reading lights by the bed. As you continue to walk in, you see that the bedroom has a large balcony with an amazing view of Jensen Beach and the Atlantic Ocean.
I took a tour of the Hutchinson Island Resort and all the rooms are amazing. While I loved the beach view, next time, I really want to stay poolside so I can watch the sunset. If I bring my daughter, I would love to stay right off the pool with the Lanai so that you access the pool from your room. How cool is that?
Hutchinson Island Restaurants
The Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa has three restaurants on property. The main restaurant is the Drift Kitchen & Bar. If you want to eat poolside, the Reflections Pool Bar is fantastic. The Hutchinson Island Resort has 2 pools with one on the beach side overlooking the Jensen Beach. I have never seen a pool so close to Ocean. It is fantastic! You can get drinks and food at the Dune Beach Bar.
Drift Kitchen & Bar
The Drift Kitchen & Bar is one of the best restaurants I have been to in quite some time. They have the perfect mix of amazing decor, delicious food, spectacular view, and a warm and helpful staff. When you first walk up to the Drift Kitchen and Bar, you are welcomed with a wall of seaweed and a large tree table that I was told is from Ireland.
I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Drift Kitchen and Bar and was blown away by all the amazing food they have. Here are some of my favorite dishes.
Dune Beach Bar
Enjoy spectacular views of Jensen Beach and the Atlantic Ocean by sipping delicious cocktails at Dune Beach Bar. It is an oceanfront oasis that you will fall in love with.
Reflections Pool Bar
The Reflection Pool Bar is located near the Jensen Beach Resort’s Pool and Jacuzzi. You can enjoy fresh, casual dining in a charming outdoor setting with modern nautical decor. Sip drinks poolside and enjoy a light lunch delivered right to your chair by our friendly pool attendants. With games for all ages and a fun, laid-back atmosphere, it’s easy to see why the stylish Pool Bar is the perfect spot to spend the day. Also, did I mention that the pool is heated? No matter the temperature, the pool is a perfect place to relax.

Downtown Stuart is the historic downtown for Stuart FL. It is also is cute little walk around area that has amazing restaurants like The Gafford (formerly The Flagler Grill).

This is one the best Downtown Stuart Restaurants that epitomizes the Martin County feel. It is casual meets upscale with a bit of history. That is definitely Stuart for me! Definitely, make a reservation because The Gafford Restaurant gets busy. The staff is very accommodat
