12 Reasons to Stay at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort

A few weeks ago, I was invited on a girl’s weekend trip to Universal Studios and a free stay at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort. One of my favorite perks of staying on property is the ease of access to the parks and the 4 free Universal Express Unlimited passes that allows you to skip the regular lines. There is no scheduling needed, you just go straight into the express line.

• The Beautiful Rooms

  The rooms at the  Loews Royal Pacific Resort are extremely spacious and stylish. I was impressed by the cleanliness and the comfort of the room. The beautiful wallflowers and lighting fixtures gave it something special. I love that my room had a purple flower design, but I also saw on Instagram that they have other colors like yellow. The view from the room was of the pool area and really got me ready to start relaxing right off the bat. The beds were extremely comfortable as well and I slept like a baby!

• Complimentary WiFi

  At this point in my life, I cannot live without  Complimentary WiFi! I was happy to see that the  Loews Royal Pacific Resort was not charging for this essential service.

• Lagoon Pool Area

  The pool is a lagoon-style with a sand beach and private cabana rentals. There is also a  Royal Bali interactive water play area for children.

• Transportation to Universal City Walk & the Universal Parks

  The transportation to the parks is extremely easy. It is a very short boat ride to Universal City Walk where you can access Universal Studios, Volcano Bay, and Islands of Adventure. You can also walk. It is extremely close by and an easy walk.

• Jake’s American Bar

  This bar is an awesome place to eat and drink during your stay at the  Loews Royal Pacific Resort. During our stay, we were privileged to eat and drink at Jake’s Beer DInner. It is a five-course meal paired with featured ales and lagers. Each month a new beer vendor is featured. This special ticketed event celebrates a wide range of craft brews, signature entrees, and desserts, all created especially for you by award-winning chefs.

  Twice each year Jake’s Beer Festival takes place under the outdoor Wantilan Pavilion. The festival features 50 or so craft and specialty beers, creative and tasty foods expertly prepared plus live entertainment to fill the night air.

• Orchid Court Lounge & Sushi Bar

  The beautiful Orchid Court Lounge & Sushi Bar is awesome and I love that they have sushi available at the hotel. I feel like that is such a rarity with amusement park hotels.

• 4 FREE Universal Express Unlimited

  As part of staying at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort, you get 4 free universal express unlimited passes per day to skip the regular lines at Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s
  Islands of Adventure all day. Volcano Bay has it where you virtually wait in line rather than standing there.

  This benefit is worth up to $89 per person, per day. Of course, you have to cover the cost of entry to the parks. If you want to go to the parks, this makes a big difference and if you are planning on purchasing express unlimited, it is a really good idea to stay at the resorts. Depending on when you are going to stay at the Resort, you might end up pretty much getting your stay for free because it is $356 savings if you have 4 people in your party. If the hotel stay is that much or less, then it pays for you to stay at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort.

  The convenience of having the unlimited express pass was huge and I would not go to the parks without it. I hate waiting in long lines!

  

• Complimentary Shopping Delivery to Your Room

You can get complimentary delivery of merchandise purchased throughout the resort to your hotel. Shop until you drop and let the bags come straight to your room.

• Early Park Admission

  If you stay on property, you get early admission into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Universal’s Volcano Bay one hour before the theme park opens (valid theme park admission required). • Resort-wide charging privileges with room key
  

  Stay with us and get resort-wide charging privileges using your room key card. You can also use your key card for complimentary access to select live entertainment venues at Universal CityWalk™ for the length of your stay.

  

• Authentic Luau

  For generations, Hawaiians have used luau gatherings to celebrate important milestones and special occasions. Experience the tradition firsthand with an evening of authentic Polynesian food and entertainment. This weekly dinner show features a tropical all-you-can-eat buffet (complete with pit-roasted pig) and live music. Captivating hula and fire dancers make you feel as if you’re at a true island party. Who knows, you might even get the chance to show off your own hula skills.

  Shows are Saturday evenings; tickets are required. Registration begins at 5:30 pm, seating starts at 6 pm (subject to change).

• Torch Lighting Ceremony

  Gather by the pool on select evenings (weather permitting) for the torch lighting ceremony featuring the “oli aloha” welcoming chant, a fire dancer and more.

• Preferred Seating at City Walk Restaurant

You can get preferred seating at restaurants like the Cowfish where you can get both sushi and a burger in the same sitting.
