How to Look Fabulous in the Rain this Spring by South Florida Fashion Blogger, April Golighly
April showers bring May flowers. Being named April, I’ve heard this saying all my life. Spring is coming around the corner along with showers and flowers that go along with it. My theory is that if you must get wet, you should embrace it and look fabulous in the rain. That means taking off your leather shoes and high heels and throwing on a pair of beautiful rain boots like these quilted ones I got at Kohl’s.
A rainy day is the perfect opportunity to raise the mood of people around you. A simple smile can be contagious! You can also make people smile by picking a fun umbrella like this Red Micro Dot Umbrella by Lauren Conra. I love the shape of the umbrella! It is classic and fun at the same time! If you are not into polka dots, try a solid like this one with a little ruffle edge or pick an umbrella that shows off who you are rooting for this year.

Eventually you are going to end up in a puddle and you do not want to ruin your fabulous shoes when you do! Embrace the rain and pick up a pair of awesome pair of rain boots. There are so many cute pairs, but my favorite kind are the ones that look like real boots. I love the seams on these Bootsi Tootsi Quilted Rain Boots. They are available in black, yellow and army green. All fabulous colors!

What a cute umbrella. I especially love the unique top of it.
I love polka dots, so this is an umbrella I could totally use. The pointed top makes a statement!
Very cute umbrella. I probably would get a pair of rain boots if I could find any in my size, but noone makes anything cute in tugboat size from my experience.
I love those glasses: classy
Okay, that has to be the most adorable umbrella I’ve ever seen! I love those boots too!
