I am getting bigger by the day and the only piece of clothing that is comfortable for me right now is a maxi dress. I have been buying a ton of non-maternity maxi dress from T.J. Maxx by Max Studio. The dresses that have been gravitating towards either have an empire waist or are scoop necked t-shirt maxi dresses. I figure that I can wear these non-maternity maxi dresses after the pregnancy is over. I hate to spend more money on maternity clothing when I could be buying these non-maternity maxi dresses.

My gray hair is taking over my roots so instead of hitting the salon, I decided to throw on my red wig. I bought this short hair red wig a few years ago when Posh Spice was wearing her iconic short cut. Since then, I have cut the bangs down a bit so that I can wear them side swept. I love short red hair, but I don’t love the maintenance that goes into keeping a great red color and the daily maintenance of styling short hair.

Dress: Max Studio from T.J. Maxx very recently; Shoes: Black & White Stripe Sandal from Bealls last summer; Headband:  Quilted Black Headband from Nordstrom in 2004; Bracelet: Silver Bangle from H&M in New York; Necklace: 1970s Vintage Necklace; Wig: Red Short Wig purchased a few years ago from the Treasure Coast Square Mall; and Pink Grapefruit Nail Polish from Nuance Salma Hayek for CVS received as a gift from this event.

What do you think of the red wig?

  1. I have this awesome wig I bought in New Orleans years ago. I always wanted my hair cut into that shape but my curly hair just won’t do it.

  2. The wig is nice, but different. I probably should be wearing one, too. I feel like I have to color my hair every couple of weeks because of the growth of the gray.
