The Pompano Beach Marriott whisked me and my family away for a lovely weekend that is close to home and made me realize that it is the perfect South Florida kids staycation spot. Here are some of the reasons that I love it!
Beautiful View
The view from the hotel is of the beach. OMG! It is just amazing! It whisks you away to paradise only with a short drive. The beach is so peaceful and tranquil.
Quick Access to Pool Area
When you stay at these big resorts, it feels like you have to walk a mile to get to the pool. The Pompano Beach Marriott has a small feel without sacrificing amenities. I love that we were able to get from the room to the pool in a few short moments. You can go from sleeping to relaxing in minutes flat. Love that!
Happy Hour at McCoy’s
The happy hour at McCoy’s is amazing and makes me want to return for a date night! It runs from 5 to 7 p.m. Daily with specials on food and drinks. They have $5 house wines including Sauvignon Blanc. The serve pool side with outdoor friendly wine glasses. LOVE it!!
Funky Fish Camp
The Funky Fish Camp program is my favorite part of staying at the hotel. It is a day camp that focuses on learning about the ocean. For the Snorkel Day camp, my daughter made tie-dye shirts, learned to snorkel in the pool first and then went snorkeling in the shallow ocean for shells and fish. They leaned about fish and different shells throughout the day. The camp is available on property so that the parents can get some one on one time. Doesn’t that sound like the best thing ever? Relaxing Beach
The beach at the Pompano Beach Marriott is one of the most beautiful around and it is pretty empty. It is amazing how a nice beach day can invigorate the spirit. You have to play on the little wooden boat with your kids. My daughter loved it and the shots we go on them will definitely be framed and on my wall before the end of the year!
