I cannot believe that Back to School is already here. The summer has gone by so darn fast! However, I am extremely excited to start shopping for back to school. As much as I love summer, I always look forward to back to school prep. Maybe it is because it is August and it is just so hot, and I cannot take the heat anymore or maybe it’s because shopping for school clothes is one of my all-time favorite things to do. Yes, I think that my love for shopping takes the cake.
My daughter is kinda a pain when it comes to trying on clothes; I have to buy and try on at home. It’s so odd to me because I love spending hours in the dressing room.
DICK’S Sporting Goods has become one of my favorite places to shop for my daughter. They have a wide selection online and excellent service in stores. I love the athleisure look in the classroom.
I feel in love with this top as soon as I saw it. My daughter is always asking me to chase her so the can’t catch me is just perfect. The colors are perfect, and the kitty on the shirt makes my daughter love it too. I also found Sofies at DICK’S Sporting Goods too! That made me feel so nostalgic because I wore them all the time growing up. They were my go to shorts when I was a kid.
The next look drew me in with the Wild at Heart top. I bought a few pairs of Sofie mesh shorts to go with this top that way I can send my daughter to school with an extra pair of shorts that still matches the top. This prevents some fashion disasters with mismatched looks.
I fell in love with these cute little Nike Shorts and matching racer back top. She looks like a little athlete in this outfit. It makes me want to buy her Nike sneakers.

I try to start early, to take advantage of multiple store’s great sales. I also make sure to check the weekly ads before shopping.
I shop the sales. Sales are my best friend!
Hit those sales up!
My best tip for back to school shopping is to hit up local children’s clothing sales at churches. It saves so much money and the clothes are in mint in condition
My best back-to-school shopping tip is to make a list. It’s easy to get lost in aisles of what the stores consider ‘must haves’ and overspend!
I always look for back to school deals and coupons while shopping.
I start at the beginning of summer, looking for clearence items or coupons that I can pair with things on sale.
Wait for the sales!
Start early!!!! If a store price matches, start shopping before the sales start!
wait until school starts to get a list from the teachers
Look online for the best deals before going to the store, it saves a lot of time and running around.
Shop on tax-free weekend!
My back to school tip would be start early and watch sales, free tax day
Shop throughout the summer, instead of doing it all at once. I wish we has a tax free weekend here.
Watch for 30% at Kohls and pair with their sales!
Best shopping trip – when you find pants that fit your grandchild, buy them in every color they come in!
ALWAYS SHOP THE SAES
My best back to school shopping tip is to buy multiples of everything. You will probably need it and you won’t have to run out and get it at the last minute.
I start early and buy extra stuff Rosanne
I always start early with my shopping. Sometimes out of season (winter for summer clothes and vice versa)
Coupon!
Reuse…don’t buy more stuff that’s already in your home.
Start early, and hit the good sales!
In my case, I have to buy big in sizes, pants, t-shirts, socks and sneakers…
Keep the receipts for a late exchange, October kids growth more, I don’t know why…LOL
Hugs
Some areas offer a no tax day for back to school supplies including clothing. That’s when we get our stuff!!!
coupon & sale shop for sure
I always hit the clearance racks first. Don’t buy too much in the beginning because in a couple of weeks that stuff goes on clearance.
My best shopping tip is to use coupons and find the sales.
