A few trends stood out to me as I was watching the spring runways this year.

Asian Inspired Patterns

There was an asian influence over several of this season’s runway.  Louis Vuitton had the more traditional asian jackets, Dries Von Noten has asian prints with bright yellow flowers that were breathtaking.  Carolina Herrara showed asian inspired necklines.

Black and White

B&W are always classic together, but this spring designers took it to another level. I dream of a world where my entire wardrobe is made by Vionnet.  I wanted everything that walked down the runway.  Moschino and Elise Overland also rocked original black and white looks.

Colored Leopard

As a huge fan of leopard, I was excited to see some new rainbow colored cats. Burberry, Blumarine, Oscar de la Renta, O MY!  I must have a Burberry leopard dress!

Short Suits

As a person that wears a suit almost everyday, it was nice to see several designers reinterpret the suit with short-shorts.  No doubt, I will be wearing shorts with my suit jackets this season!  Also, tweed shorts in the fall smells like heaven!
