I have been on the hunt for good bathing suits that are both stylish and supportive of large busts. I have finally found a brand of supportive bathing suits for big busts. It came from an unexpected place that I shop at all the time, but for some reason, I was not drawn to this brand…probably because I never heard of it and because of the simplicity of the swimsuits. I am kinda mad at myself for disregarding a brand that I didn’t know. I would have discovered this awesomeness so much sooner!
The name of this awesome brand is La Blanca. My stylist from Trunk Club sent me 2 bathing suits from the brand in my staycation trunk this month. I am so glad she did. I kept the 2 she sent me and went to Norstrom and got another on this week and I have 2 in my Nordstrom Rack cart as I type (better buy them before I hit publish!).
The first bathing suit that I tried on from La Blanca was this Vision Quest one piece that was in my Trunk from Trunk Club. It is available from a 4 to a 16. I got a size 14 and was extremely happy with the support it gave me. It was also extremely stylish and slightly sexy because of the front opening, but even with the openness, I felt held in and up at the same time. That is the genius of these swimsuits. You can flaunt a little without feeling like you are going to fall out. I love it!
The next suit that I tried on was the bandeau one piece. This comes with a skinny halter strap, but I swear you don’t need it. OMG …YES!! It is true! This swimsuit somehow defies physics and gravity by holding up my 36 DDDs! I did not think it was possible! I gave up wearing strapless tops and swimsuits long before my daughter was born. Mind you, I haven’t had any surgery on my bust so gravity is not my BFF.
Here are some of my favorites that I found in store and online. They all hold up big bust with the helps of supportive backing. La Blanca uses this magic crisscross pattern on the back of the suit to support the front.
