Nestled along Florida’s southeastern coastline, The Palm Beaches Collection harbors a rich tapestry of history, culture, and natural beauty. The Palm Beaches Collection is made up of 39 cities, towns and villages.

I am so happy to be living one of those cities with access to the rest of the areas with just a quick hop into my car. Let’s dive into some of my favorite activities around Palm Beach County.

Outdoors Activities

We love going to parks and the beaches all over the Palm Beaches. Each beach has slightly different vibe and so much to offer!

Spanish River Park

My family absolutely adores Spanish River Park. Starting our beach day at the park allows you to access the Boca Raton beach through a tunnel to avoid any traffic along A1A.

Spanish River Park is a tranquil park that spans approximately 95 acres along the Intracoastal Waterway, offering visitors a serene escape into nature. It is known for its beautifully maintained beaches and lush vegetation.

Spanish River Park provides an array of recreational activities, including swimming, picnicking, fishing, and boating.

With its scenic walking trails and designated barbecue and picnic areas, Spanish River Park serves as a perfect spot for family gatherings and outdoor adventures, making it a cherished destination for both locals and tourists seeking a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Arts & Culture

The Palm Beaches Collection is filled with so much art in culture. I recently visited the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens to walk outside and take in the culture.

The Japanese Gardens are an extremely authentic window into the history of the area. In fact, in the early 1900s, a recent graduate of NYU, returned to his homeland in Japan, to organize a group of farmers and lead them to South Florida. They formed a farming colony named Yamato. The Morikami Museum and Japanese Garden now sit in that same spot.

The original building, named the Yamato-kan, is modeled after a Japanese villa. It features a ring of exhibition rooms surrounding an open-air courtyard with a dry garden. The Yamato-kan offers exhibits chronicling the history of the Yamato Colony and their farming.

Spa & Wellness

There is no limit to the amazing spas that are part of the Palm Beaches Collection. I have been lucky enough to frequent the spas in the area and love so many of them for their different wellness experiences.

Eau Palm Beach’s Spa has an outdoor area with swings over an ankle deep water with sounds of the ocean lulling you into pure relaxation.

There are so many more experiences and activities that I cannot wait to share with you. Until then, you can learn more about The Palm Beaches Collection here.
