It has been 7 days since I started the Weight Watchers Simple Start Program and I glad to say that I am walking more and eating better. I’ve been cooking almost everyday for the household and my fridge is filled with good veggies and yummy foods.
Since I started Simple Start, I have been walking outdoors with my daughter and dog twice daily. I am up to 2 miles per day. I feel like I have more energy and my clothes are fitting a little better. My main goal is to get back to my pre-baby weight and this seems to be the first step in that direction. I also have a blogger cruise coming up where I am hoping to wear a bathing suit without feeling self conscious.
As a reward, I have been doing more photo shoots of outfits for the blog. My husband and I take an afternoon walks together and he photographs me all dolled up for the fashion section of April Golightly. I love playing dress up and documenting it all of it on my blog.
My favorite parts of Simple Start are:
1. The Shopping List – When using the Simple Start program, you can print out shopping list. It is super easy to use and makes grocery shopping on a diet a breeze.
2. 55 Different Meals to Eat — Simple Start lasts for 2 weeks, during which you have 55 different meal and snack choices. Everything I have eaten so far is delicious!
3. The Simple Start App — I have been using the Simple Start Weight Watcher App for recipes and logging my food. It is so easy to cook with the recipes right on my iPhone. Of course, I made some modification based on my preferences and dietary prohibitions. The pictures are Pinterest worthy and the app has helped with meal planing. I have been a meal plan machine this week.
The little quotes boost my confidence every time! They help keep me on track!

I love WW. It is a great program. My problem is sticking to these programs, especially when Entenmann’s cakes are half price at my supermarket – I am weak! Good luck to you!
