I first realized that it was time for a trip to the drug store when my foundation started being too dark for face. My husband even mentioned that the color was too dark. Even though, I do not take the sun, I still get more sun in the summer than I do in the winter. I decided to try a new foundation after doing a little research on some beauty blogs and beauty forums. Bronzer & Blush
Bronzer and blush are a must for winter as this is when you are at your palest. I went with Loreal Paris True Match Blush in Barely Blushing and NYX Matte Bronzer in Medium.
Eyebrows & Mascara
Eyebrows and Mascara are the most important part of my makeup routine. I bought an inexpensive brow pencil with a little brush at the end by Jordana in Medium Brown and Cover Girl Clear Mascara (I got this one half off!) Always go lighter than your hair color for day time. For years. I made the mistake of buying dark brown because my hair is dark brown and never used the pencils because it was too dark for me. Lighter colors look more natural. Use the pencil to fill in the brows pressing lightly and avoiding the first millimeter of brow closest to your nose. After you are done filling in your brows, use the clear mascara to set the brow in place.

I chose a moisturizing tinted lip balm by Burt’s Bees in Hibiscus. I love the way it feels and it keeps you from getting chapped lips while adding some fabulous color to your lips.
