Orange is the New Black Costume
After writing my post about orange is the new black blazer, I realized what a cool and easy costume! You can obvious choose whatever inmate you want,but I suggest picking either Piper Chapman or Alex Vause. They both require less tattoo application than the others. I chose the orange jumpsuits rather than the tan ones they normally wear because it makes the costume since the show is called Orange is the New Black rather than Tan is the New Black. It’s a really comfortable costume as the orange prison outfit is actually a set of scrubs. If you don’t want to wait to get them online, you can probably find them at your local uniform store. Call first to save yourself the trouble.
If you want to get creative, you can make your own maxi pad shower slippers. Poor Chapman had to wear them for a while because her commissary did not come in right away. I love how I know stuff about being in prison now. The show is super interesting, and the drama sucks you into it. Love circles and rivalry galore. If you haven’t seen it, I suggest you get to power streaming this weekend.
I didn’t expect to like that show, but I actually found it funny. Not sure I would want to dress up like a prisoner though…
I keep hearing about this show; I’m going to have to check it out now. Loved Laura Prepon in that 70’s show. Cute costume idea!

You know there is a costume for everything. This one is very current and will be making it’s debut i am sure.
