Last week, I started my back to school shopping at Dolphin Mall in Miami with a few gift cards provided by the mall. They have some amazing store and stuff for kids. They also have valet!!
We started the day at Starbucks where we picked up a quick Caramel Frap for me and an Organic Milk for my munchkin. Then, we went over to Justice to pick out some cute clothes for my little daughter. They have so many fabulous pieces and character items available in the store. I saw some Inside Out and Minion Stuff that my daughter died over. We bought a Minion shirt!
Then we moved on to Old Navy where we found some cute outfits that are perfect for school. The deals were amazing, and the passport deal from the Dolphin Mall made it even sweeter!
Next, we moved on to the shoe stores. We went to Sketcher and Crocs. There was a passport deal for Sketchers and Crocs was having a sale for Buy 1 get up to 2 – 50% off. I bought one pair for my daughter and another for my husband. I also got a pair of Soft Science shoes for myself. These are all waterproof and great for water activities. My daughter is currently enrolled in swimming three times per week, and I suspect that we will continue this in the fall until late October when it starts getting cold here.
We found a new backpack for myself and my daughter at Kipling. They have amazing stuff and great deals! I love the durability of the fabric and the comfort that they provide. It feels like you are not even wearing your belongings. I adore all the fun prints that they have as well.
Of course, I could not make it all about the munchkin. I stopped by Blommies to pick up some amazing designer goodies for myself!
After we had been done shopping, we watched the Minions at CineBistro in huge chairs eating amazing food like fish tacos! Then, we played at Cool-de-Sac for a bit. My munchkin was running on fumes, but if you have kids that don’t nap, you will be golden!! Now through August 21, Cool-de-Sac has a deal Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM, where $13.50 includes entrance and food for parents and kids from a special summer menu.

There are some new things coming to the Dolphin Mall!
Five new restaurants are opening this year. BRIO Tuscan Grille, Burger & Beer Joint, Cabo Flats Cantina & Tequila Bar, and Kona Grill. One of them has yet to be revealed. Additional Valet will be added to service the new restaurants.
More parking (360 spots) will be added by Forever 21, Marshalls, and HomeGoods. In fall 2015, there will be a parking structures near Sports Authority with 850 spaces.
Live, Life, Teach
Teachers will receive a Live, Life, Teach bag with a Passport to Shopping discount booklet, meal vouchers, CineBistro Movie Pass, a Starbucks drink voucher, and more goodies.
