This ‘You’ve Been Booed Gift Basket Tutorial’ is based on the popular “You’ve Been Boo’d” concept. It is an underground chain-letter-type of game that people play around Halloween. They trick or treat their friends, neighbors, or family with a gift and goody basket that is anonymous and ask one thing in return – for it to be paid forward. Boo, it forward!
I started my shopping for the You’ve Been Booed Gift Basket at Target walking down the aisle looking for something fun that my neighbors would like. We usually meet up after dinner. As I was walking down the aisle, I saw this super cute plaid coffee carafe by Threshold. This started my idea for doing a coffee themed ‘You’ve Been Booed Gift Basket’. My neighbor is obsessed with all things Pumpkin so I wanted to make her some pumpkin coffee to go with the carafe set up.
You’ve Been Booed Gift Basket Tutorial
To put together the, You’ve Been Booed gift basket, I started with the plaid tray to use that as my gift “basket”.
Next, I bought that awesome carafe with four matching cups so that my neighbor and her friends can share the coffee in style.
I found some awesome Archer Farms Keurig Cups with Caramel yumminess that goes great with Pumpkin to include in the basket. I bought one box for myself and the other for the basket. I used the K-Cups in my Pumpkin Caramel Latte Recipe below.
Then I grabbed Archer Farms Pumpkin Caramel Popcorn to keep the theme going for the basket. Popcorn and Coffee are the perfect combinations for an after dinner or a Sunday afternoon snack.
I washed the carafe and cups so that I could fill the carafe with the Pumpkin Caramel Latte.
I left the You’ve Been Booed Gift Basket on my neighbors front door carpet and rang the door bell so that coffee would not go bad.
