My day always starts with coffee because nothing comes before coffee. I am kinda cranky and not productive before I have my coffee. I often say, “Don’t talk to me – I haven’t had my coffee yet!” Lucky for us, McCafé has launched a new line of café-quality espresso drinks, including Caramel Macchiato and Vanilla Cappuccino.
I have found some pretty excellent coffee at McDonald’s. They have amazing flavors that I have fallen in love with. My favorites are the McCafé iced Mocha and the Caramel Macchiato.
McCafé Mocha
McCafé MochaThe McCafé Mocha is made with espresso beans that are sustainably sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. You can choose your steamed milk from whole or nonfat milk. I prefer nonfat milk in my McCafé Mocha. Then the McCafé Mocha is topped with whipped topping and chocolate drizzle (I ordered mine without whipped topping). It comes in small, medium and large.
McCafé Caramel Macchiato
McCafé Caramel MacchiatoI love starting my day with a McCafé Caramel Macchiato made with rich, dark-roasted espresso. You can choose from steamed whole or nonfat milk. I prefer the nonfat milk to whole milk. The McCafé Hot Caramel Macchiato is mixed with sweet caramel syrup and topped with ribbons of buttery caramel drizzle. Since it was so cold yesterday, I ordered the hot McCafé Caramel Macchiato. This cozy coffee makes me warm inside and able to get down to business and start my day on the right foot.
