Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and it’s time to share your feeling with the people you love–your girl friends! They are there for you when you need them and listen to all your problems. Whether they are single, married, or dating, they deserve to know that you love them!
Why not show your love by throwing a girls only valentine’s party? Like you need an excuse to hang out with your friends. My normal “excuse” is my book club, but why not have a V-day party to celebrate friendship?
I found the perfect gift for my friends that optimizes girly-ness. These Designs by Lolita glasses are dressed up wine glasses with girly sayings and drawings all over them. I chose Love Potion, Graffiti, and House Party wine glasses for the Girl Party. The coolest part is that they have a unique Lolita drink recipe on the bottom of each glass.
Love Potion Drink Recipe:
1 oz Raspberry Liqueur
1 oz Cranberry Juice
1 oz Cinnamon Schnapps
Fill with Pink Chardonnay
Graffiti Drink Recipe:
1 oz Gin
1 oz Apple Brandy
1 tsp Hazelnut Liqueur
1 Dash Blue Curacao
Fill with White Wine
House Party Drink Recipe:
1 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Dry Vermouth
1 oz Hard Cider
FIll with Pink Chardonnay
Of course I did not get to make any of the drinks seeing as I am pregnant, so I drank grape soda instead. I definitely am looking forward to having a drink after the baby is born. You have to let me know how these drinks are, so that I can live vicariously through you.
