BA Star Palette: Easy Smokey Eye

BA Star sent me the Natural Eye Shadow Palette with Gel Glitters and the Glue. Eye Shadow & Glitter Base to review. BA Star eye makeup is creamy, but not so creamy that it slides off with humidity or when you sweat. It has a staying power that I have not seen from other cream shadows. The pigment is also awesome. I’ve bought creamy shadows that slipped off quickly and had no pigment. This was a nice change!
Based on the website, it seems like this makeup is used for dance and performances, which explains why it such staying power and pigmentation. I’m not a dancer, but I live in a hot humid climate so I can appreciate makeup that holds up to sweating and moisture in the air.
I used the 1, 3 and 4 to create my easy smokey eye for a blogger night out with some on fabulous fashion and beauty blogging friends.
Easy Smokey Eye using the Natural Eye Shadow Palette with Gel Glitters:
- I used number 4, the purple shade all over my lid.
- Then, I blended in the # 3 dark brown color in the outer corner to darken up the look. It was really easy to blend the colors with a small blending brush that comes with the palette.
- Lastly, I used #1 to highlight under my brow bone.
