Casual Summer Outfits
Tank Tops
During the summer months, breathable tanks top are your best friends! I have a few awesome tank tops on Amazon and one amazing basic tank that I plan to order in every color.
This button down tank top from Misslook is amazing. I bought another tank top that looks like this from another brand on Amazon and found that the quality and fit just was not there.
I recommend only buying this top from Misslook otherwise you will be disappointed as I was. It runs true to size as I ordered it in an XL. You can wear it tucked in or untucked and it will not be too tight to go over leggings this summer.
The hottest print of the year is snake print. I have been hunting for a cute summer snake print top that can looks good on curvy girls. This snake print tank top is the perfect choice for a casual summer look. I ordered in an XL from amazon. You can get it here.
Denim Shorts
To me, summer means breaking out my comfy denim shorts. My favorite places to get good blue jean shorts is from American Eagle and J. Crew.
The Midi Shorts, Mom Shorts, Bermuda Shorts, and now the Curvy Shorts are perfect for women that want to be comfortable during the summer without being over exposed.
In the photo, I am wearing a pair of cuffed midi shorts from American Eagle. The inseam is 6 inches when unrolled and 4 inches unrolled. I roll the shorts so that the inseam is about 4 1/2 inches.
After one wash, you are able to vary the roll length with the most control.
The American Eagle Midi Shorts have stretch in them and are extremely flexible. They have Ne(X)t Level Stretch and are super soft, super comfortable & breathable. I have noticed that they don’t bag out the way shorts with stretch usually do. According to the site, the midi shorts “won’t bag out. Ever.”

Summer Dress
This summer dress is perfect for a casual summer look. I found this basic dress on the Aritzia site. You can easily wear it as a coverup or for a casual summer outing. It is also from Wilfred Free and is made of Wilfred Free’s signature fabric, Reposa™. It is a V-neck dress with a drop shoulder and trapeze silhouette. The Reposa™ fabric, a soft jersey knit that drapes beautifully.
Jean Jacket
During the warm weather season, the AC is always cranking here in sunny South Florida. I find myself freezing when I am indoors.
The summer casual outfit collection would not be finished without including an awesome jean jacket. I have a few that I love from Anthropologie. They are from a Anthro Brand called Pilcro. I bought one in the store and the other is from Poshmark. After writing this, I just ordered another on Poshmark right. Now, I will have 3!
