Bathing suit season is full swing and bandeau bathing suits are my summer trend alert. This summer, bandeau bathing suit will definitely be a staple around the swimming pool and beach resorts. A strapless bandeau flatters smaller busted women. Beading, ruffles, a twist or tie in the middle, and fringes add depth to smaller breasts.

Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner and personally I am craving a margarita! Of course, I am going to have to wait until after I have the baby to have one, but a girl can dream! This Cinco de Mayo outfit is for those of us blessed with flat tummies. If you’ve got it, I say embrace it! This outfit also features one of the Pantone Spring 2013 colors, linen. This skirt will get a ton of use this spring and beyond. It really is a classic. It would look great on women with hips. I usually wear these skirts to emphasize my waist.
Every season Pantone comes out with a list of 10 colors of the season and names one color of the year. Emerald is the color of the year for 2013. The Pantone Spring Color for 2013 are Nectarine, Grayed Jade, Emerald, Dusk Blue, Monaco Blue, Lemon Zest, Poppy Red, African Violet, Linen, and Tender Shoots.

The wedge sneaker trend is being seen everywhere on celebrities and bloggers alike. I’ve had a pair of red converse style wedge sneakers for roughly 10 years that I bought at Payless so I was well ahead of the curve. 😉 They have held up because I take care of them and don’t wear them that often. When I saw wedge sneakers reappear, I decided to give it another try. Once I put them on my foot, I feel in love! Right now, at 25 weeks pregnant, wearing heels is just not happening for longer than 20 minutes. The wedges sneakers allow me to gain some height in comfort.

Winter is coming! So is the Season Premiere of Game of Thrones Season 3! I have been listening to Game of Thrones book 3: A Storm of Swords and have been dying to discuss the dirty details of book 3 with the world. I am excited to see what happens in the season and also ecstatic to see the Game of Throne Fashion! It is going to be a great season and I am impatiently waiting for the big day on March 31, 2013. Easter is my favorite fashion holiday! Spring dress and hats are the most fun things to wear for me. Wearing spring dresses, pearls, and large sunglasses actually helped me get the name April Golightly. In college, my wardrobe mostly consisted of these items. A guy in one of my classes started calling Little Miss April Golightly with the “Asian” accent from the movie. Other students started calling me that and it just stuck. I have come a long way in my taste since then, but I still adore the Holly Golightly look and dressing up for Easter.

I have several events coming up that I need some fancy maternity outfits for. A Pea in a Pod at Boca Town Center has an amazing selection of designer maternity duds. You can definitely find better deals out there, but if you are looking for labels, then A Pea in a Pod is the place to go. I purchased the Nicole Miller dress that I wore to the Boca Museum fashion event and the blue and green sheer top that I brought to the Independent Fashion Bloggers Conference in New York.
