Recently, I was lucky enough to sit down with Adam Glassman, Creative Director of O, The Oprah Magazine. Love and want all of Oprah’s favorite things? Adam helps pick them out. I interviewed Mr. Glassman at Lord & Taylor‘s new store in Boca Raton, Florida the day before his personal appearance where he met and took photos with South Floridians as well as presented holiday and gift giving trends and ideas.
Adam is a hardworking Creative Director, working on 3 magazine issues at a time with a tight schedule, but on the surface you would never know it, as he spent over an hour chatting with me. He couldn’t have been more laid back, and was just such a sweet, genuinely nice guy. Before the interview, I was a casual reader of O Magazine. After meeting Mr. Glassman, I am a subscriber and devoted reader. Did I mention how stylish he is? His sweater, tie and button down combo with his monogram camo bag look fabulous together. This week I received an awesome massage from Elements Therapeutic Massage in Boca Raton. Lately, my neck has been killing me. I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t a good night’s sleep in 6 months or because I am lifting my little, statically extra large baby all day. Either way, I have been consistently having neck pain for over a month to the point that my mobility is limited. I notice it most when I have to turn my whole body to look at my blind spot while driving. It is no fun at all.

I recently had a long conversation with Adam Glassman, creative director of O Magazine. We talked about accessories for over 20 minutes! At the time, my accessories were limited to a J.Crew necklace and The Shine. Normally, I pile on the accessories, but lately, during the day, I only wear the Shine. It is no fuss and I don’t have to worry about the new baby breaking it or worse yet injuring the baby with a sharp edge. At night time, I have an arm party and every metal is invited.

My husband recently installed the Rejuvenator in our master bathroom shower. I love that it adds height to the shower head so that it easier for him to shower. He’s pretty tall and the old shower head only hits at his neck. This added the inches necessary so he can wash his hair more easily. I have been using the rejuvenator to shave more easily and wash my new ombre hair. My hairdresser from Salon Verde recommend that I keep the blonde portion of my hair out of the water as I wash the brown portion so that their is not run off. This was very easy to do with the rejuvenator shower head.
I met up with the Bloggin’ Mamasthis week to check out the Planet Beach Brickell. We were given one month free passes to try the place out in compensation for writing about our experience. Before the event, I was apprehensive about attending because I thought it was going to be a tanning place and I am so done with tanning beds. I was happy to find out that no tanning occurs at this Planet Beach in Brickell. They are all about repair and wellness. My kinda place! They do have spray tan and I am all for that! Expect me to be tan at some point in my next few posts because I am definitely trying out the spray tan. Time to start looking like a Floridian! Maybe being tan will motivate me to work out. What is the Jersey Shoe moto? Gym-Tan-Laundry? I have never seen the show, but I have heard it around town. Planet Beach Contempo Spa’s moto is Relax, Glow and Renew! Sounds like all the things I need to do right now. So far, I tried out the Hydro massager and the Luminous Facial with the blue light.
