Celebrate Summertime – 12 Baby Friendly Outdoor Activities
This summer we are celebrating summertime with 12 baby friendly outdoor activities. My goal this summer is spend more time doing family activities and less time working. My daughter is nearly 1 year old and I compiled a ton of activities for her to celebrate the summertime and achieve the goal of spending more time with the family.
Celebrate Summertime – 12 Baby Friendly Outdoor Activities
1. Pick berries or veggies at an orchard (we did it locally here)
2. Build a Sandcastle at the Beach or in a sandbox
3. Collect Shells at the beach and identify them with a shell book
4. Play with bubbles and bubble bath in a pool
5. Swim in the Pool
6. Go to the aquarium to see and touch all the fish
7. Smell and touch the flowers in the garden
8. Use a baby pool to try out some sensory activities. My daughter loves jello and oatmeal.
9. Spread out a blanket on the lawn or in a park and have a picnic. Bring a book and read.
10. Take a jog or walk with the baby in the stroller
11. Swinging at the Park
12. Splashing at the Water Table
I always use AVEENO® Baby Sunscreen SPF 55 and I keep a beach umbrella in my car so that I can provide shade for the family.
I usually hit a road block that prevents me from continuing outdoor activities. It ranges from allergies, to a headache, and goes all the way to an acne break out. I stocked my purse and bathroom full of goodies that will allow me to power on like ZYRTEC®, Extra Strength TYLENOL®, and NEUTROGENA® sensitive skin face wash and facial lotion.
I found all the products to celebrate my goals this summer in Walgreens. As you can see these products are popular for celebrating goals this summer because it is nearly cleaned out.
This Summer is all about Celebrating every goal.With the Big Game (2014 FIFA World Cup Wellness Tour) right around the corner, it is easy to celebrate. We are cheering for USA this year! My sister is cheering for Bosnia because she thinks they are cute. Considering her awesome fantasy football winning track record based on this method, Bosnia will surely win.

What fun ideas!!! I actually took my little one in the pool for the first time this past weekend. Even in the water, I can’t forget the sunblock!!

Wow! You are brave with the jello in the baby pool! That could end up being a sticky mess if it gets hot enough outside!
Anything having to do with water play is always a hit with kids, but all of your ideas are so fun!

Oh wow, that sensory pool looks like so much fun and you can’t beat swimming!
