Here is a hypothetical question. Can the Kia Soul transport 4 adults and 1 toddler for a 3 hour car trip? You bet it can. A few months ago we had the pleasure of driving the Kia Soul, a cross-over hatchback with a lot of charm, on a trip to Disney World! My husband had his doubts initially, but by the end of the trip, he was pencilling the Soul on his short list for the next car he purchases.
There are many things to love about the Soul, including the heated and cooled seats! Being able to chill your seat especially during the Florida summer is extremely helpful. Also all the accents and lighting touches on the interior made the Soul feel like a pleasant place to be, even with five people in the car!
The colors are all so adorable. If we were buying a new car, it would be tough to settle on which one we liked. The car we drove was a awesome red color, I loved it! Fitting enough luggage for five people for a three-day trip was tight but totally possible with this car. The hatchback is a tremendous help in that kind of situation. Even if we couldn’t fit it all, the cross bar would have let us tie something down if need be.
The Soul gets 31mpg on the Highway, which was a nice amount especially since the majority of our trip to Orlando was on the turnpike. My husband’s current car gets significantly less than that right now, so it was a nice break from having to stop at the gas station that often.
If you are in the market for a new car, it may be time to consider the Kia Soul. I know that we are.
