This yummy easy Swedish Meatballs Recipe is made with a bag of pre-made Meatballs with Swedish meatball sauce from scratch in one pot dipped into lingonberry jelly.
This is one my husband’s favorite dishes and the only way that I can get him to go to Ikea. I usually start my requests to go to Ikea with talk of Swedish Meatballs.
This helps soften the blow of go shopping for furniture and having to put it together when we get home. That is how powerful Swedish Meatballs are in my house. They get my husband shopping and ready to be handy to put something together.
I’ve tried to create the Swedish Meatball dish several times making the meatballs on my own, but it is too much effort for a weekday dinner. Making meatballs from scratch and then all the whisking that goes into the sauce, I am only one person!
Today, I am excited to share a way that you can make Swedish Meatballs without spending all day on them! This is also a one pot Swedish Meatball recipe so you won’t have to clean a ton of pots and pans at the end. I am all about less mess and clean up.
I used Johnsonville Homestyle Meatballs so that I can spend time with my family rather than slaving in the kitchen making meatballs from scratch.
Did you know that all Johnsonville meatballs are made with premium cuts of pork and come fully cooked with about 20 meatballs in every bag?
Johnsonville meatballs come in three flavors- Original Italian, Homestyle, and Three Cheese so they make great addition to tomato sauce recipes too.
