Fall starts tomorrow and in honor of the passing of summer and the start of fall, I put together this Fall Drug Store Makeup Tutorial and Beauty Package Giveaway.
Fall Hair Tutorial
I started washing my hair with Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Brazilian Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner. This helps with difficult to straighten hair leaving hair silky for faster flatironing.
After towel drying my hair, I used Garnier Fructis Sleek Primer on the midshaft and ends to help smooth and prime my hair for heat styling.
I added a dime size amount of the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment.
Then, I brushed out my hair with a Wet Brush.
I allowed my hair to dry naturally and pulled a flat iron through the front where I was going to braid.
Half Insideout Braid
I allowed my hair to dry naturally parted my hair with a deep part on my good side.
I pulled a flat iron through the front where I was going to braid.
Separate out a front section of hair and clip back the rest.
Take a section right near the part on the heavy side and divide it into three strands.
Cross the pieces under each other instead of over like a traditional braid.
Only pull hair into the french braid from the back not the front pulling it tight every time.
Continue braiding like this until you reach the top of the closest ear.
Secure the braid with a hair pins (1 or 2).
Braid the rest of the hair with a normal inside out braid not pulling in any more hair.
Mist with Garnier Fructis Anti-Humidity Hair Spray.
Fall Makeup Tutorial
In the morning, I started with L’Oreal Volume Filler Moisturizer to help fill in wrinkles and moisturize my skin.
I used Revlon Photo Ready Foundation with Revlon Nearly Naked powder.
On my eyes, I started with Smokissime Powder Eyeliner in Purple Smoke for a purple smokey eye starting at the lashline and blending outward with the applicator.
To make a cool winged eyeliner, I used Maybelline Mater Graphic. You can use it to make thin lines or thicker lines for a more dramatic look.
I finished the eye look with L’Oreal Voluminious Butterfly Mascara in Blackest Black.
My brows are filled in with L’Oreal Brow Stylist Designer in Dark Brunette.
I finished the look off with L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor in Forever Candy.
