Spring Fashion Tips from Macy’s Secret Garden Fashion Show

I love attending fashion shows so much especially in the spring because everything is so colorful and fun. I guess it is not that much of a surprise that I love spring considering that April means spring. My parents named me perfectly if you ask me. I love that Macy’s hosts these awesome events that help the aspiring fashionistas and the fashion novices get ready for Spring. How awesome is Macy’s?! I have been shopping with them since I was a kid and still love them.
The Macy’s in Dadeland Mall hosts fashion shows through the year hosted by local fashion bloggers. The Secret Garden Fashion Show was hosted by Viva Fashion blogger, Carmen Cordenza. In addition to the fashion show, Macy’s was giving mini makeovers after the show from Benefit Cosmetics. There were refreshments from Madi’s Tea Garden right next to the fashion show. Downstairs in the Beauty Department was filled with goodies and treats. You could get your nails and makeup done throughout the day.

One of the big trends for spring is florals. If you adore flowers, go full floral by wearing a floral print dress like this awesome orange one. I am dying for this wrap dress! So classic and timeless yet fashion forward with radiant orchid mixed in. If you are not keen on wearing a floral print dress, you can try a floral print bag, statement necklace, earrings, shoes, or scarf. These floral accessories can easily be paired with spring staples like a bright blazer and white pants.
The next awesome trend that I am super excited to wear this spring is clothing in navy. The 3 different ways to wear navy this spring from the Secret Garden Fashion Show was sporty with an awesome white and navy polka dot trench, navy striped soft pants with a bright yellow button down, and navy and white print flared dress that look great on curvy fashionistas.
Another awesome color for spring is coral. Everything looks awesome in coral. Carmen of Viva Fashion Blog is wearing coral perfectly with animal print shorts and coral sandals. Coral also looks amazing in prints with tan and blue.
