This fall and winter plaid has been huge. It is obvious for good reason, we love this print! Check out these unique ways to wear plaid.
Graphic Tee & Plaid Midi Skirt
Graphic tees and plaid remind me of 1990s, but you don’t have to be slave to the by-gone grudge era. Make the look your own by wearing a plaid midi (not mini) skirt that hits at mid calf with a fun coffee graphic tee. If you live in cold weather, add a pair of cool tights and a felt black hat!
Plaid flannel tops are probably the most comfortable fall winter look outside of wearing P.J. It is such a soft fabric that you cannot feel unfomfortable in it! This top is no exception and because of that I have been wearing it non-stop with jeans and skirts.
The plaid flannel top is probably the best plaid choice for when you live in a primarily warm climate like South Florida or Southern California. You will get the most use out of it if you use it as a top and then use it to layer over lighter pieces so you can pull it off once the sun starts peeking through.
Every blogger in existence it seems is rocking the over-sized plaid scarf. I love this look, but cannot rock unless visiting a cold climate. It is far too warm here to pull it off. Take a page from one of my favorite bloggers, Atlantic-Pacific by throwing it over an all black look or just wear it over your normal basics like jeans and a button down top.
As a Floridian, I have to bring up the plaid shorts! They are very easy to wear with tights when it gets cold and then when it gets a little warmer with those slip on sneakers.
