Disney invited me to an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles in exchange for sharing it with you. As always, all opinions 100% my own. Inside Out Premiere
Ahhh!! I went to my first red carpet premiere last week to see the amazing new movie starring Amy Poehler, Inside Out. The carpet was not red, but instead it was purple. There were thousands (I think…I’m bad at estimating this sort of thing) of people around the fenced in purple carpet trying to get a glimpse of the festivities and the celebrities. I felt so special being on the inside!
Walking the red carpet was way cooler than I expected! I thought you only walked and got pictures taken of you and maybe if you were a celebrity you got interviewed. It was so much more fun than that. There are tons of fun activities to do for kids and adults. Also, they have a great buffet.
I started by grabbing a plate and trying some gourmet Mac and cheese and a salad. It was all delicious! They even had these cute cupcakes for each character. How cute are these??! I think that I will be making an Inside Out inspired treat this week.
After munching a few cupcakes, I started playing. My favorite activity was this video flip book station where you start by taking video with props and then they print out inside an Inside Out flip book for you to take home. I did 2 cute videos with awesome bloggers that I met on the trip: Tessa of Mama Smith and Shelley of Sweep Tight. Check them out!! They are the nicest gals!! There were tons of other activities to play with, but I was too excited to do all of them.

There were so many awesome actors coming down the carpet that I couldn’t miss them. I saw Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Philis Smith, Bill Hader, Rashida Jones, Bobby Moynihan and tons more! Mindy and Amy are too of my idols so this was incredible! Check out these awesome pics!!
This Red Carpet was all about spring colors and short cocktail dresses. I wore this pineapple print dress with a pair of super comfy & stylish wedge sandal and fun sunglasses clutch. I kept my hair down and curled it with a 1.25 inch wand, and light hold hair spray. In the future, I would have liked to have my hair up, but with this dress I like my hair down. To me, having it up, I would look too vintage. The hair keeps it in this era. When I bought the dress, I thought it looked vintage, but I had no idea how vintage! When I was at the premiere, a very stylish women told me that she had a vintage dress in the same print from the 1930s. How cool is that?!
