Today we headed up to Monserrat. It is a little colder than Barcelona so I decided to do some serious layering. I am wearing purple jeans with a white stretch long sleeve scoop-neck shirt. Layered over the white shirt is a button down dark denim from Banana Republic. For the cold moments, I added a wine colored velvet blazer and Missoni infinity scarf. For comfort sake, I wore some flat brown boots by MIA that I picked up from TJ Maxx. The boots were on the clearance rack with the strap broken. It took me 2 minutes to sew the loop back on properly. Now I have Perfect inexpensive boots!
The air in Monserrat was crisp and the food was awesome. I tried some of their locally made cheese and honey. Delicious!
Monserrat looks like such a beautiful setting for an outfit-of-the-day post! I love how travel style can combine comfort with a polished, put-together feel. This look is a great example of dressing stylishly while still being ready to enjoy a day of exploring and taking in the scenery.
