I’m sharing #SausageFamily in my life as part of a Johnsonville sponsored series for Socialstars.

During the week, I do my best to make quick and easy meals that are also healthy. This week, I decided to go with a one pot quick sausage and veggie recipe using Johnsonville fully cooked sausage. They have a ton of different flavors like Jalapeno Cheddar, Chilli Cheese, Stadium Brats and a ton more. Of course, Johnsonville Fully Cooked Sausages have no fillers and are made of only 100% premium cuts of pork. I chose to use the Beddar with Cheddar Smoked Sausage with cheddar cheese. My hubby jumped for joy when he saw that I was making cheddar sausage for dinner. I aim to please!!

One Pot Quick Sausage & Veggie Recipe

1 Broccoli Head
3 Peppers, red, yellow, orange, diced
1 Bag Green Beans
2 Garlic Cloves, diced
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 Package Johnsonville Beddar with Cheddar Fully Cooked Sausage

Wash and dry all the veggies.
Start by dicing up the pepper into 1 inch pieces. Make sure to remove the stem and the seeds.
Remove the ends of the green beans.
Chop the tops off the broccoli.
Dice the garlic using a food processor or garlic press.
In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil on medium/high heat.
Add in broccoli and green beans and let cook for 5 minutes.
Next, add in the garlic and the diced bell peppers. Cook for 5 minutes.

As the veggies are cooking, dice the Johnsonville Beddar with Cheddar Fully Cooked Sausage into small bite sized rounds. one-pot-veggie-sausage-3-of-5

You just want the sausages to be fully cooked and to have some cheese to help make the veggies more flavorful.
