As a new parent, I want to capture every moment of my child’s life perfectly so that I can look back at it when she’s older. It is painful to think about her getting older because she is my little girl. Of course, I want her to grow up, but I want to protect her from the world. She is beyond innocent now and I would love to be able to keep it that way. I realize that is not reality, but a mom can dream!
3.1 Phillip Lim is putting out a line for Target set to come out on September 15. I am beyond excited for the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target launch. Here are a few (actually quite a few) items that I am dying to try on. I hope that launch opening day is not going to be as crazy as the Missoni for Target launch day because I would really like to get to try on the items before I buy them. Knowing how much people love Phillip Lim, I suspect that it is going to be nuts! I especially cannot wait to see the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target bags in person. I have been dying for one of his bags for a while now. I have one of his belts that I absolutely adore. I am wearing it here!
Now that I am a mom, a wife, and a new homeowner, I have come to realize that I have to set a clothing budget. That is a whole lot of change in such a short-time period (a little over a year). 911 is still a very important day in the United States so important that it is national holiday called Patriot Day. I can still remember September 11, 2001 so vividly. I remember more details from that day than I do from my wedding day that was only a little over a year ago. I don’t think I will ever forget and I am very glad as it helps me appreciate my friends and family more. Tell people that you didn’t forget by dressing up for 911 and Patriot Day (the same day: September 11 every year). I found Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat Nail Polish at the drug store the other day. Sally Hansen says Fuzzy Nails and I say Tweed Nails! There are many colors of including a few different blue and greens. I chose the black and white Fuzzy Coat called Tweed because it reminded me of Chanel’s Tweed Suit. I put on 2 coats and topped off the edge. I had to paint my hand a little to get into the corner, but that might be because I can’t see very well. It worked out fine as about an hour later, I washed my hands and picked that part off my skin.
