Top Mom Blogger is a fabulous website designed to help all bloggers better their blogs and reach their own personal goals. You do not have to be a mommy blogger to appreciate the wealth of information available on Top Mom Blogger. My favorite categories are PR, Pitching, and Monetization. The articles gave helpful insights into monetizing my blog that I was completely oblivious to prior to becoming a member.
My favorite post is ‘About Me Pages, Why you should have one!‘ The Top Mom Blogger About Me post inspired me to re-write my About Me page to make it more personal and also more accessible for PR representatives. The Top Mom Blogger advice was, “Make sure that your ABOUT ME page is visible in a category or top of your blog so it can be easily seen and clicked on. Brands do NOT like to hunt down the information about you and will quickly move on to the next blogger if its not within eye shot immediately.” I added a photo to my side bar so that my about me page could be accessed from top bar by clicking About and also by clinking on my picture.
