My favorite place to shop for beauty products is Sephora inside JCPenney because the selection is awesome and the service is fantastic. Sephora inside JCPenney has a fresh take on beauty and color this Spring with an exciting offering of new and trending products from your favorite brands and cool new brands. I found the Sephora PRO Warm Palette that is exclusive to Sephora inside JCPenney.
Sephora PRO Warm Palette
The Sephora PRO Warm Palette from Sephora Collection has the perfect eyeshadow for hooded eyes (find it in-store at Sephora inside JCPenney). I have hooded eyes and always need a good warm transition color to help blend in my eyeshadow. I have been hunting for a good warm eyeshadow palette and finally found the one with all the colors I am looking for. This Sephora PRO Palette is exclusive to Sephora inside JCPenney. You should visit your local Sephora inside JCPenney now to get this exclusive beauty buy before it is sold out—hate when that happens!
What are Hooded Eyes?
You have hooded eyes if the crease in your eyelid is hidden by the upper part of your eyelid. The upper part of your eyelid act as a hood over the lower part of the lid. Having hooded eyes makes it difficult to see eyeshadow unless you apply it in a specific way.
Makeup for Hooded Eyes
To do my makeup for a spring day out with my daughter, I used the Sephora PRO Warm Palette to create this makeup for hooded eye tutorial.
Use the Hazelnut color as my transition shade and working it into my crease in a windshield wiper motion using a large fluffy brush. Blend it out with a clean fluffy brush.
Make a halo effect with the Burnt Umber color. When doing this effect on hooded eyes, make sure not go too high with this halo, you want to still see the transition color to help give the crease an actual shadow effect. Learn how to apply makeup to hooded eyes by practicing this halo effect.
Place the Burnt Umber color on the inner corners and outer corners of the eye. Avoiding the middle section. Use the clean fluffy brush to blend the color.
Make the halo effect with the brick eyeshadow doing the same thing as you did with the shadow. Blend out with a clean fluffy brush.
Dab Cedar on the outer corner of the eye and blend to give a little bit of depth to the look.
Using a flat brush put the shimmer color Sand on to center of the lid. Also, use Sand in the inner corners of the eyes.
Using an angeled brush, layer Burnt Umber, Brick, and Cedar under your lower lashes. You want to smoke out the lower lash line.
Tightly line the waterline with black eyeliner.
Finish the hooded eye makeup look with a black mascara and false eyelashes if you wear them.
Farsali Unicorn Essence
I picked up the Farsali Unicorn Essence at Sephora inside JCPenney (get it here on JCPenney.com). It is an amazing serum that works as a lightweight primer. I was not surprised to see that it is a water-based serum. The Unicorn Essence comes in a beautiful purple bottle and the serum itself is iridescent pink which explains the name. It definitely reminds me of unicorns. My daughter wanted to use all of it, but I managed to hide it from her. It helps protect the skin from free radical damage thereby helping starve off the aging process. I have been using Farsali Unicorn Essence for the last few weeks and have been really happy with the staying power. My skin has not been as oily with the use of the unicorn serum under my makeup.
Ouai Wave Spray
The Ouai Wave Spray helps enhance waves and create beach hair. It is not tested on animals, free of parabens, and infused with rice protein to add hold and memory for that “just got out of the ocean and my hair dried perfectly” look. I found it at my local Sephora inside JCPenney. Get your own Ouai Wave Spray here at JCPenney.com or in stores. Find the closest JCPenney to you here.
To make more defined waves using the Ouai Wave Spray, you can apply to wet hair after you use a detangler and brush out any knots. Then, twist your hair into rolls and allow hair to dry like this.
To add a subtle beach wave to already dry hair, use the Ouai to spray your hair while it is twisted and then blow dry.

I have quite sensitive skin that reacts sharply to cosmetics. Therefore, I try to make up extremely rarely, but if I do it, I choose exclusively pure, natural cosmetics
