I have been racking my brain to think of a Halloween costume that is original, fun and easily put together. I did tons of research and wrote list of my favorite books, movies, and TV shows. I kept coming back to the Queen for Snow White. She is one of my favorite villains! Today, I will be showing you how to do the makeup for Snow White Queen makeup and how to easily take it off with Neutorgena Makeup Remover Wipes.
Prep your skin with primer. Next, apply any foundation of your choosing. Conceal any under eye circles and pimples with corrector. Enhance your brows with tinted brow gel. Simply run the wand over your brows. I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brown Gel.
Prime your eyelids with your choice of primer. Primer helps create the canvas for eyeshadow application that is so important to the Snow White Queen Makeup.
Next, sweep black eyeshadow slowly over the eyelid. Using purple eyeshadow, apply it to the crease and blend the black and purple together using a clean brush. Make sure to blend the eyeshadow out towards the outer corner of the eye and then up. Use the purple shadow to line the lower lashes. Connect the colors at the outer corner of the eye.
Then, add a light colored highlighter under the eyebrow. Next, line the lower lash line with black eyeliner wigging it out at the corner.
Curl eyelashes, then apply black mascara. If you want to take your look up a notch, add purple eyelashes and then reapply black eyeliner.
Clean up any fallout from the eyeshadow application with a tissue and reapply foundation in those areas. Set with face powder and makeup setting spray.
Complete Your Look with Stila Stay All Day® Liquid Lipstick in true red. I applied it using a lip brush starting on the inside and working my way to the edges. This lipstick stays on forever if you make sure to drink out of straws only.
To complete my Snow White Queen look, I wore my Maggie London Illusion dress with black pumps and a tiara. Also, I found an apple to complete my look!
The last step in the Snow White Queen Makeup look is making sure you get it off before you go to sleep. I used the Neutrogena Makeup Removal Cleansing Towelettes that I bought at Walmart to ‘un-Halloween’ and take off the stay all day liquid lipstick, eye makeup and eyelashes. I use the Neutrogena Cleansing towelettes all year to dissolve makeup, dirt, oil, and waterproof mascara. The wipes are extremely gentle and make it easy to remove makeup when I am exhausted.
