This week I went clothing shopping with mom for the first time in quite a while. She lives about 5 minutes from the closest Burlington! I’m super excited to be partnering them to bring you these looks!

My mom and I were both blown away by the prices and the cute stuff they had in stock! I tried on two outfits and ended up getting both because they were both super cute! You can get items at up to 65% off department store prices every day at Burlington.

Spring Outfits for 2016

Nautical Trend

My first look hits upon the nautical trend in a very spring 2016 way by focusing on the coral rather than the navy. The colors that keep popping up this season are from orange to rose quarts. I love brights and blushes, so I am all in on this trend!

I matched this coral tunic top with gold nautical detail with a pair of white skinny jeans that I already had. I tried the top on with white chinos and realized that I already had a similar staple in my wardrobe. I topped off the look with a pair of chunky heeled sandals that are also extremely on trend.

Rose Quartz

The color of the year – Rose Quartz is an easy to wear color for spring and beyond. I have been loving this sweet blush that have been coming out lately and was super happy to hear that Pantone decide to go This beautiful top is going to be a staple in my wardrobe all year. Here I am wearing it with an oversized polka dot maxi, but I could easily wear it with shorts or jeans.

Chunky Heels

I am beyond excited about that chunky heels are back. The kitten and stiletto heels that make you wobble are no longer the favorite shoes around! Can I get a woot-woot!!? It is much easier to walk on chunky heels especially ones this low. It’s about an inch and a half. This gives you some height without the pain.

What Spring Trends are you excited to wear this year?

  1. I have always loved nautical! I need to limit my anchor and buoy inspired home decor too!

  4. I’m really not much into fashion but this year I’ve decided to incorporate a few dresses into my wardrobe. My daughter says I need to dress like a woman instead of wearing my usual jeans, tees and converse. I love Burlington and their prices are awesome!

  5. I absolutely love the navy polkadot print skirt! definitely great for spring! My issue is that I am quite short so long skirts never really fit and end up dragging!

  7. You’re right, both outfits are very cute. Don’t you just love when you find more than one thing that looks good? The polka dots are such an upbeat thing to wear in the springtime.
