FOX provided this trip. I received an all-expense paid trip, to attend The Strawberry Shortcake Convention courtesy of FOX Home Entertainment. All opinions are 100% my own.
This month I had the pleasure of attending the 11th Annual Strawberry Shortcake Convention. The event was filled with the memories of loving Strawberry Shortcake as a child.
The best part of the Strawberry Shortcake Convention was learning all about the new Strawberry Shortcake. My daughter and I have been watching the show non-stop since I went the convention. I love that the characters are all smart, nice girls that are extremely entrepreneurial. Strawberry Shortcake runs Berry Bitty Café, Orange Blossom owns a general store, Lemon Meringue has a hair salon, Blueberry Muffin runs Berry Bitty City’s Bookstore called Blueberry’s Bookstore, Raspberry Torte runs the Fresh Fashions Boutique, Plum Pudding owns and runs Berry Bitty City’s dance studio, and Cherry Jam is a performer, songwriter, singer, and dancer.
This year American Greeting is introducing new characters like Sour and Sweet Grapes, twin sisters and Apple Dumplin who is a blogger. How cool is it that Apple Dumplin has the same job as me? I love that the blogging profession is getting more known in the entertainment community. A lot of people do not understand how blogging works so it will be helpful to have kids and moms seeing Apple Dumlin blogging on the Strawberry Shortcake cartoon. Good job American Greetings!
American Greetings is the holder of the Strawberry Shortcake license. The Strawberry Shortcake Convention attendees took a tour of American Greetings headquarters as part of the convention. They also gave every person a new toy that is not in stores yet. My daughter loves her new Strawberry Shortcake doll. She still smells exactly the same. I love it!
The Strawberry Shortcake Convention is perfect for fans adult and kid fans. Check it out next year for the 35th Anniversary of Strawberry Shortcake.
