The wedge sneaker trend is being seen everywhere on celebrities and bloggers alike. I’ve had a pair of red converse style wedge sneakers for roughly 10 years that I bought at Payless so I was well ahead of the curve. 😉 They have held up because I take care of them and don’t wear them that often. When I saw wedge sneakers reappear, I decided to give it another try. Once I put them on my foot, I feel in love! Right now, at 25 weeks pregnant, wearing heels is just not happening for longer than 20 minutes. The wedges sneakers allow me to gain some height in comfort.

I initially wanted to wear the Upere sneaker wedges with shorts, but with the size of my thighs right now, I  cannot pull it off. Other gals with less shapely thighs or longer legs, shorts, wedge sneakers, and a sheer top would be a great look for spring. Personally, I am sticking with the pants until after the baby is born!

Since there are so many colored and printed jeans out there, you have so many options to choose from! I went with blue jeans, but if I fit into my full closet, I would love to match them with these floral jeans and these mint jeans.

  1. Those are some funky sneakers. Right up my alley, but being 5’7, I don’t need any help in the height department.

  2. Hmm… I don’t think I would – I like wedges in boots and other shoe styles, but to me sneakers are used to work out.

  3. Those are cute. We have been joking we need to get my daughter some so she could gain some height for the amusement park rides 🙂

  4. Have you personally looked in this company-UPERE? I recently ordered these shoes and they arrived in a plastic bag- from china. They smell like dye/gasoline and are awful. Tried contacting the company and no telephone number only receiving emails that are stating can’t return(despite their website claim of free returns) but can only offer 25% money return if i keep the shoes. (poorly written too) Obviously its a fraudulent company and not sure how they are getting away with this
Please let me know more- do not endorse this company
