This week I made an amazing Summer Cocktail aptly named a Whipped Melon Martini as the part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #donthesitaste We just got a new game in the mail before it is released to the general public. It is called Exploding Cats. I know, the name sounds funny, but that is because it is a funny game. The goal of the game is to make sure that the Cat does not explode. You would think that the best part of the game is that is funny, but that is not the best part. The best part is that I finally found a game that I can win. He always wins everything we play, and this is the only game that I have managed to crush him in! Amazing right!?

Cream Melon Martini

We received the game early because my husband crowd funded the production of the game so as a bonus we received the game before anyone else. I could not think of a better reason to have friends over! We started the night with Exploding Kittens and then played some Jenga and Connect Four.

Since it was late at night while the kids were sleeping, I wanted to make a fun martini. This one is called the Whipped Melon Martini. I replaced the sugar with Sweet ‘N Low to keep it low cal and diabetic friendly. My guests can enjoy the sweetness we all love without the extra calories

Melon Drink

2 parts Whipped® Vodka
1/2 Part Melon Liqueur
1 part Lime Juice
1 Sweet ‘N Low Packet
1/2 part Half & Half

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Top with a dollop of whipped cream.

Want to make your summer even sweeter? Come hang out with Sweet’N Low® on their summer sampling tour to try some Sweet’N Low® sweetened iced tea, play fun games and snap hilarious pictures of all the fun. Be sure to mention April Golightly at the event for a special gift. See where you can meet up with Sweet’N Low® this summer at sweetnlow.com/tour.
