The Wild Thing Palette is a limited edition palette from bareMinerals made for spring, but I think the colors work better in the summer. ($30.00 for 0.17 oz.) The Wild Thing featuring 4 shades of eye shadow: Sensational (iridescent aqua), Elitist (bronzed taupe), Icon (electric chartreuse), and Controversy (deep marine blue). The palette is formulated without parabens, binders, fillers and harsh chemicals.

I used the insert to complete this look. This is the day look. I also used a very light colored blush (Bobbi Brown Nude Pink Blush), black mascara, and light colored almost sheer gloss. The colors are not something that I normally would try, but somehow they look great together. The shadow lasted most of the day with NARS primer underneath it. I wore the makeup with a neutral colored outfit so as to make the eyeshadow the focal point. I would not recommend pairing this makeup with an over top outfit as it could be overwhelming.

How much do you usually spend on Eyeshadow? $15 per color; $30 to $35 for Palettes. This palette was decently priced.

How would you rate this product? 6 on scale from 1 to 10. The longevity was reasonable considering that most eye shadows slide off me pretty easily. The colors are very unique and I love the look on me. I would not have put these colors together if they hadn’t come together in this palette.

This palette was given to me at the Independent Fashion Blogging Conference in February. PicMonkey Collage
