What to Wear on 911

I am trying to decide what to wear on 911. Should I go patriotic with red, white and blue or make it a New York theme? I think either way is appropriate. I put together a few ideas to help me decide. Which is your favorite 911 look?

911 is still a very important day in the United States so important that it is national holiday called Patriot Day. I can still remember September 11, 2001 so vividly. I remember more details from that day than I do from my wedding day that was only a little over a year ago. I don’t think I will ever forget and I am very glad as it helps me appreciate my friends and family more. Tell people that you didn’t forget by dressing up for 911 and Patriot Day (the same day: September 11 every year). What to Wear to Tastemakers?

Summer is still hanging around South Florida even though I am dying to get break out my fall wardrobe. When dressing for Tastemakers in Mizner Park, you should fight the urge to dress for fall and wear something summery instead! Saturday Shopping: Pre-Fall at Nordstrom

I went shopping at Nordstrom last week for a skirt, but of course I had to try on a few tops and jackets while I was in there. I found an awesome skirt by Halogen, but they did not have the pattern that I wanted in the store so I ordered the quilted version online. I really love it and if I was working in an office everyday and planning to stay this size, I’d probably buy every color. They have 8 colors and 2 patterns!

I tried on a few cut out tops that drew me in and I feel in love with these jeans jackets in mint and camo from KUT from the Kloth. The camo one is on sale for 50% and the mint jean jacket is 60% off. I might just have to order the camo one online since Nordstrom only had XS left. I am wearing a medium jacket now. The black & white stripe dress is mine. I bought it at Sam’s Club. It is soooo comfortable!

Black & White Outfits

Black & white outfits are so easy to put together that I often forget about them. Everyone has black and white pieces in their wardrobe that will make being in style this fall pretty easy. I chose gray accessories because it is a little more unexpected than basic black accessories. If you do not own gray shoes, black would great with this as well. I love gray shoes as they work with more colors than black, like navy, orange, and yellow.
