1. Wear Vests to Spice up Jeans. Start with the all American uniform of jeans and a white t-shirt or white tank top. The jeans can be any cut that flatters you. In my outfit, I chose to wear polka dot skinny jeans and a white tank. I accented with some color by adding teal pumps, watch, and sunglasses. You can accent with your favorite color accessories or just go neutral. In summer, I would add color, but in winter I would go with neutrals like black, brown or gray.
Some women are anti-dresses. To me they are the most comfortable things in my wardrobe and you don’t have to match a top and bottom! I writing about wearing dresses for beginners so that women will try out wearing a dress so that they can join in the bliss that is being female. I have not been to the beach in quite some time since we bought a house with a pool, but that does not mean I should stop looking beach chic this summer! Beach hair waves are so fabulous and I wish I had the energy to do it myself everyday! I have natural waves in my hair, but it’s just not the same as getting your hair done. I love the new era of hair salons where you can go into a salon and completely avoid the hair dye smell and just get a great look for a night out or photo shoot. Leopard is a timeless print that can be worn by women of any age. My daughter just got a ton pink leopard outfits and shoes at my baby shower and I wear leopard print all the time and have been since college. There was a short period of time when I was anti-leopard, but that was during a very impressionable period of time in my life when I followed magazine advice to religiously and it was list on the out of style list. There are so many awesome beach cover ups to use as maternity tops out there. I wrote about wearing beach cover ups as maternity tops in the fall. I found another one from Victoria’s Secret. I bought the bathing suit to match, but I have to wait until I go down a bra size before I can fit in it. Bigger boobs…benefit or draw back of pregnancy?! If you’re small on top, then I say benefit. If you are starting at a D, then I say draw back. At this point, my boobs are the least of my problems!

I am loving my new Derek Cardigan Eyeglasses. I have been looking for a cool pair of clear glasses for a few years now. Since I have such horrible vision, it is very hard me to find prescription glasses that do not take over my face. My best friend is having a pool party for her son’s first birthday in a few weeks. I am super excited to see both my best friend and her adorable family. The dresses that have been gravitating towards either have an empire waist or are scoop necked t-shirt maxi dresses. I figure that I can wear these non-maternity maxi dresses after the pregnancy is over. I hate to spend more money on maternity clothing when I could be buying these non-maternity maxi dresses.
