I’m serving my dog CESAR® home delights™ as part of a sponsored series with Socialstars. #CesarHomeDelights Family Dinner Night with Harrison Ford
Harrison Ford is a huge part of the family! He was my first child after all! Sometimes, I think he can be a little more high maintainence than my daughter. He is little beg – ger that is constantly interrupting dinner with his antics. Instead of putting him outside or asking him to stop the endless whining, I have included him in our family meal!
This week I made a dish for the family actually inspired by my Harrison Ford’s dog food! It’s a beef stew! Since I started feeding him CESAR®Home Delights™, he’s been less interested in harassing us during meals. He loves it!
With CESAR® Home Delights™, I’m able to give what he usually begs for – my dinner. CESAR® Home Delights™ borrows the recipes your family loves and makes them just for your dog! It looks and smells like human food but is formulated for dogs!
I made a simple beef stew for my family in the slow cooker with stew meat, carrots, and sweet potatoes.
Beef Stew – Human Recipe
1 Cup Vegetable Broth
1 Pound Stew Meat
5 Carrots, peeled & copped
3 Sweet Potatoes, peeled & chopped
2 tbsps All Purpose Flour
1 tsp sea salt and pepper
1 large onion, diced
1 large bay leaf
1 – 6 oz can of tomato paste
Peel & chop both the carrots and potatoes into bite size pieces.
Place meat in slow cooker.
In a small bowl mix together the flour, salt, and pepper; pour over meat, and stir to coat meat with flour mixture.
Add in the bay leaf, onion, broth, sweet potatoes, and carrots.
Cover, and cook on Low setting for 10 to 12 hours, or on High setting for 4 to 6 hours.
