Having great hair everyday is one of those goals that I have been aspiring to all my life. I have found that if I take the time to do my hair, it usually looks great for about 2 to 3 days. It lasts longest when I use the perfect amount of product for my hair and take the time to blow dry, flat iron, or curl it.
All this styling takes time. You can spend less time styling by using the Pro 3Q Blow Dryer. It actually reduces drying time by up to 70% with lower temperature and faster airflow to minimize heat damage. I picked up my Conair Pro 3Q at Walmart.
I spent a lot of time with the Conair Pro 3Q Blow Dryer and learned a ton about how to better blow dry my hair. I am not a professional by any means, but I feel like I am on my way. Here is my tutorial on how to get the flip under blow dry. I discovered this awesome technique while trying out the Conair Pro 3Q Blow Dryer for the first time.

The Perfect Blowout Tutorial
After the shower, towel dry your hair and do your makeup to give it time to dry. Most people start blowdrying as soon as they get out of the shower. You should not start blowdrying a soaking-wet head. Either wait it out or do a pre-dry by flipping your head over to get rid of excess moisture.
Spray your hair with Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Primer with Heat Protection and Toni & Guy Prep Leave in Conditioner to the knotted area and the ends. Comb it all the way through and then brushed it with the Conair Ceramic Wooden Boar Cushion Brush. Use a large clip to section off your hair.
Put on the Concentrator attachment and set the dryer to medium flow and high heat, curling my hair around the round the brush pulling the hair taught so that the upper part is flat. Hit the upper part of the hair and the roots several times.
PRO TIP: The key to maintaining control is to always hold the brush in the hand you write with and the hair dryer in the other hand. It makes a huge difference!
Then start putting the concentrator attachment directly on the Conair Professional Round Brush to circulate the hot air. Then start slowly pulling the round brush downward. Do this at least twice to each section of hair. On the second or third time around, right before the hair is about to roll off the brush, switch the stream to cold with the quick blue switch. This is one of the best features of this dryer. The cold switch is super easy to switch on and off. Do this to your entire head.
Finish the look with It’s a 10 Miracle Shine Spray and a quick brush through with Conair Ceramic Wooden Boar Cushion Brush.
My second everyday look is a quick top knot bun that is inspired the Kate Spade Fall 2014 runway. You can either do it with hair pins and a hair tie or just 1 hair tie. Here is a video tutorial on how to do it with just a hair tie. My bun was made with just a few hair pins.
A good blow dry will last you several days, but if you get bored of the style after a day or so, you can add in a few curls at the crown using the Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret Curling Iron. Check out the curls the Conair Curl Secret makes here. This is when I had long hair. The curl secret provides you with an innovative new way to create gorgeous shiny curls each and every time. This device uses tourmaline-ceramic technology to help reduce the amount of frizz in your hair, leaving you with smooth hair that is soft to the touch. This innovative tool is like nothing you have ever used before for your hair!
This is day 3 of my hair after doing my hair with the Conair 3Q. The look really held up to the elements. It is not as voluminous as it was initially, but I still love it.

What do you think of the great hair everyday looks?
I’ve dropped my hair dryer on the ground a few too many times that I could use a new one. This looks like an awesome one and a good deal.
I have a Conair dryer (a different model) and I love it. I need to use it before I flat iron every day!
I definitely have had problems with heat damage in the past. I’m probably just not as skilled as you are with your hair but a nice blow dryer like this would certainly help. Great styles, your hair looks perfect!
Very pretty April! Love your style and with a good outfit, you have to have great hair. You do!
Love it when I have great hair styling tools too. Looks like a nice styler!
Your hair looks great! I’ve definitely got to give this hair dryer a try. I don’t get nearly these results with mine.
You make it look so easy! Perhaps it’s time to update my 20+ year old hair dryer, and I might find it easier too!
I LOVE getting new beauty products. Looks like a fantastic blow-dryer! Your hair turned out fantastic!
Thanks for the tips! I need to start using my dominant had to control the brush. It just doesn’t want to give up control of the blow dryer, and that’s probably my issue. š
I really need to practice my blow out technique. You make it look so easy! I have the brushes, but I seriously need to update my dryer. I’ve always used Conair, but mine is so outdated. I think it’s time for a replacement.
These area great tips. I don’t have too much of a problem blow drying my hair. It’s less than shoulder length.
That is one fancy hairdryer. I would probably stare at the buttons for hours.
My hair is so long it takes forever to blow dry. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for this post! I can’t wait to try this. Drying my hair is always such a pain.
Great tips! Since having kids I don’t do my hair nearly as often, but I agree that when I do it lasts for a couple of days. Brush in my dominant hand–got it! Thanks!
Your hair looks great. I need to get a new brush so i can start doing my hair again. These are great tips.
Oh your hair looks gorgeous. I am horrible at blowdrying my hair and I really think its because I don’t have the right tools. HA! Thanks for sharing…
This dryer looks amazing. I’m in the market for a new dryer actually. Mine has just about had it.
Sounds great! I love the idea of less time, with less heat damage! I need that BADLY!
I love how you went through the technique of blowdrying your hair.
Blowdrying hair is an art! I find having the tools makes such a huge difference!
This hair dryer looks incredible. It’s a lot nicer than mine that’s for sure. Mine has a high/low and warm/cool control. That’s it.
I am loving this hair dryer! I hate when I go to the stylist and she does a great job and then I come home, and can never get it the same… your hair looks amazing by the way š
LOL Love the 1st pic! Your hair looks great, nice and soft!
Oh I love the singing into the brush! Don’t we all do that? š
I use a diffuser sometimes to help help my curls but without the frizz
My hair sucks up water like a sponge. This dryer was a life saver when it came to getting out of the door in the morning!
Your hair looks great! #client
