The holiday season usually marks the entry of guests into your home. I try to make sure the guest room are well stocked with everything that my guest might need.
I started thinking about what hotel rooms have stocked in their rooms and put together a side table of awesomeness for my guests. I am sure that don’t expect hotel-like accommodations and amenities from you, but you want to show off your hosting skills. I want my home to feel like a ‘home away from home,’ for my guests by anticipating their needs during the season.
Here is a list of items to stock on the side table for your guests:
HALLS
Kleenex
3 Bottles of Smartwater
Water Glasses
Premium Saltine Crackers
Lysol Disinfecting Spray (Lysol kills 99.9% of bacteria on soft surfaces.)
Basket for magazines, best selling book, and small notebook with pen
Alarm Clock
Sleep Eye Mask
Small Jewelry Holder
To make it super cute and organized, I used small candy jars and a basket that I had on hand. I found everything else at my local CVS. This is the perfect place for you to stock up on all of theseGuest Room Essentials and tons more! Have you seen their gift aisle? Save while you stock up at CVS – starting Sunday 11/15 through the end of the week, if you spend $15 at your CVS store, you will receive $5 in extrabucks!
Other things that I would have in the room just case on top of a chair or in a chest are extra pillows and blankets. Also, I would stock the bathroom with nice towel of all sizes (body, hand, and wash clothes), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hair brush, makeup remover wipes, and blow dryer.
