Earlier this week, I was lucky enough to watch the new Jungle Book movie in 3D at The El Capitan Theatre. I was blown away at how realistic the movie was. The leaves and the whole jungle feels so real that you forget that you are watching digital effects. The animals all look real as does the scenery.
The new Jungle Book movie has an amazing story that is a slightly different from the original. It is has more action and feels more like how the Jungle Book would have really happened. I still love the Disney animated movie, but this one is definitely more interesting. We are heading to the movies to see it with my daughter tonight. After she loved Star Wars – The Force Awakens, I think she will love this too! I might have to bring one of these cute stuffed animals for her to hug!
Some of the scenes brought me to tears including the interaction with Mowgli and the mother wolf that raised him. I can imagine her pain as she lets her cub go.
I have not seen the non-3D version yet, but I’ve heard from friends that saw it both 3D and non-3D that said 3D is the way to go. I will update when I see the regular version tonight!
