The Finest Hours, which will be premiere early next year, has just released its first trailer. The film is about the “most daring rescue in Coast Guard history.” In 1952 a nor’easter struck New England causing complete chaos. During the story a tanker was ripped in half, trapping the captain and 30 of his men on a sinking ship. The coast guard sent out a small crew in an effort to find and rescue them.

I’m excited for this flick. I’ve always had a soft spot for naval movies, and this one will be no exception. Craig Gilespie directed the movie and it and stars Chris Pine, Casey Affleck, Ben Foster, Holliday Grainger, John Ortiz, and Eric Bana.
